CHRISTMAS & SHORTEST DAY COMING
Hooray for both. Only 14 days and the days start getting longer. Let's go trailriding!! Fun Christmas things to do now. Took my Granddaughter to the Arlington Christmas Parade last Saturday. Sooo much fun. Arlington is just great with kid's stuff on every holiday. Now, I am a horse lover, but I have not been particularly fond of Arabs - mainly because they just seem too nervous for me to enjoy. BUT in the Arlington Christmas Parade there was this adorable snow white Arab, decked out in red leg wraps, red ribbons in his mane and tail with a small child all in red riding him - the Mom was leading this dear horse and he was prancing and putting on a show for all - with all his prancing he was never dangerous, always minded Mom - just pranced. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. So let's hear it for the Arabs. Tomorrow night my daughter, granddaughter and myself are going to the Nutcracker ballet at the Civic Auditorium in Everett. My granddaughter wants to dress up so we three girls are dressing up, going to dinner at Arnies then to the ballet. I am really looking forward to it. Poor Grampy is staying home - had extensive dental surgery today.
A Horse's View Of The World
I find horses so fascinating and they are often smarter than we realize. I have boarded in very large commercial stables, and one can walk down the aisle and it is obvious that all those horses have unique personalities, different expressions on the their faces and, like people, their eyes tell alot. It is with this in mind that my blog will often be from a horses point of view, at least as I see it.
