TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY FOR BOTH OF US!!

SHE doesn't know it, but I had decided I would try my best to do what SHE asked of me today. I was wishing SHE wouldn't use those darn side reins and I wished she would try a different bit on me. My waggling my head and throwing my head up in the air is the only way I can TRY TO LET HER KNOW that I am uncomfortable. But I'll have to admit, I do the same thing when I just don't want to work.
Well, SHE must have been thinking the same things last night!! Today SHE told me no sidereins and she brought a different bit with her - she told the head trainer that I had a fat tongue and thick lips and that this new bit was an Egg Butt with a snaffle that has a rounded profile - leaves alot of space for my fat tongue and doesn't pinch the edge of lips. She also loosened the caveson a bit. SHE did lunge me but only with the reins under the leathers - I was really good for HER, I knew I'd better be or it would be the side reins again. She was pleased that I went in a decent frame and on the bit while be lunged. Didn't buck into the canter, (I did a little rabbit hop, tho and she just said JJJJAAAANNNNGGGGOOO NO!). Then SHE rode me, I was really good, supple and obedient - we worked on transitions and I was "johnny on the spot" with them. Did some 20 meter circles, 15 meter circles and even a couple of 10 meters. Those 10 meters are hard, but she only asked for 1 each way. SHE kept saying "good boy Jango". Then I gave her a nice square halt when SHE asked for it - then SHE asked for a turn about the forehand, which I did perfectly. AND THEN SHE SAID "WE ARE DONE JANGO, YOU ARE A SUPERSTAR TODAY!! AWE SHUCKS -
