I WILL TAKE THE RAIN!!
Thought I'd never say it but Hooray for the rain. It's the only thing that is going to thaw our place out. Stuck on this hill - 18 inches of snow and trees and powerlines down on the the one and only driveway. Luckily, the lines didn't break. We were out of power for 3 days - discovered in a hurry that our propane fireplace wasn't working so it got very cold - I spent Tuesday night with Toni - was so nice and warm with a nice big bed with a big puffy comforter - she is such a good neighbor. She fixed a nice casserole and her son Mike came up and had dinner with us. So we now have heat but still cannot get down the driveway. So it is raining steadily now - and if we can get the driveway cleared - maybe I can get to the stable and ride!! I miss my daily routine of my Stabucks and riding Jango nearly every day. I am sure Jango is enjoying his rest!! It is nice having him boarded during this weather - the woman who owns the place where Jango is boarded takes such good care of the horses - nice to not have to worry about that. Only about 24 days until the days start getting longer - I live for that day every year.
